Thoughts on Gossip Girl’s season 5 promo

I don’t know about you but I found the promo rather boring. I didn’t hate it but I think it actually wasn’t very well done. Compared to the season 4 one, which was really funny and had many great moments (my favourite is when after showing everybody’s fabulous summer we suddenly get a shot of Dan taking care of baby Milo - it was hilarious!), season 5 appears to be somehow bleak. I was really waiting for the LA storyline but now I’m not so sure it would be that great. It seems to be… Pointless. And I don’t like my shows being pointless.

Also, I bet there would be all pairings featured, to please all shippers, of course. We got the exact opposite - no pairings at all :) There wasn’t even one Blouis moment, which should be a given, considering a freaking wedding is being planned! Still, it was kinda funny, with shippers being so bitter and all: Where’s my Chair / Dair / Hair?! Stupid, stupid promo! Really, guys, I’m sure not all of Gossip Girl audience is of the shipping type and what is more, we got a lot of shippy stuff in the set pictures. Both Chair and Dair fans were humoured but some people are acting as if their pairing should be the most important thing for everyone. And you know, there are most probably somewhere out there viewers who don’t care about Blair and all the men in her life and want to see more of Serena or Nate or Serena and Nate. Nearly all set pictures were of Blair - is it really so strange that the promo was more about Serena?

I dunno, it annoyed me a bit how inconsiderate of others people can be.
