(Still, I’m kinda sad that Poland didn’t get a chance in internationally embarass itself. When will our so-called artists realize that when it comes to Eurovision the funnier, the better?)

If there’s a video going out about all the horrible things Chuck has done, is there one going out about Blair, too? Because I’m sure if you put all of her bullying, takedowns, and every time she has humiliated someone on this show, into one video, you’d have a long fucking video.
It’s so sad when people don’t understand that THIS IS GOSSIP GIRL, THE SHOW WHERE...

What is eurovision? I’ve heard people talk about it before and I feel really dumb because I have no idea what’s going on??
It’s a stupid song festival in Europe where one band/artist represents each country. It used to be one of the most important events, but now barely anyone cares about it.

… Chuck can’t even stand up for himself after an entire season of Blair jerking him around without people saying it’s “verbal abuse”.
Do you think “Verbal abuse” means “disagreeing with someone”? “Using a harsh tone”? “Saying anything that’s not 100% rainbows and unicorns”? Did Blair verbally abuse Chuck in 5x19 then? Heck, did she verbally abuse Serena in the finale, or Dan for,...

What We Have Is A Great Love: Gossip Girl... →
faithtrustand:
So Dair fans if this is really about the greater good I think you need to prove you aren’t a bunch of bitter hypocritical preteens whose hormones and ‘love’ for the muppet have led you to falsely imagine an ‘abusive relationship’.
Gossip Girl also glamorizes Drug use, look at Serena’s existence, it glamorizes casual dangerous sexual encounters, it glamorizes bullying, look at...

CW Unveils Fall Schedule: Gossip Girl Final Season... →
In a surprising move, the network has decided to rollout its new fall season starting in early October.
90210 has once again been paired with Gossip Girl on Monday.
So what’s on tap for Gossip Girl’s sixth and final season? The gang is on the hunt to find out of their own as Serena (Blake Lively) has gone off the grid, beyond even the reach of Gossip Girl. So where is she? Her friends can’t...

Chuck and Blair essays.: The great abuse debate. →
crindywithclubsauce:
I watch A LOT of TV, and I used to be a fan of Gossip Girl. Back in 2008, I wasn’t even ashamed to admit it. I liked it on a purely shallow level; it was simply good, fun television. The best things about the show, for me, were not the ridiculous (yet still interesting) storylines, but the wonderful clothes, the fantastic city, and the pretty people that I got to see on my...

chairtomytable:
I’m lazy, so this will be short.
When Lola was tracking GG, “she” was moving towards the castle. Who had just gotten into the car to go to the castle after B/C? D-Humps.
That was totally a dude’s body. And Dan was at the castle, had access to that computer.
Dan was the…

Anonymous asked: chuck reverting back to his old self on that rooftop was really in character, IMO. Blair understood it and realized he was pushing her away. She chose her heart over her pride at the casino and could maybe, possibly have everything. Chuck and Blair have never needed to spell their feelings and emotions out loud-they always knew what the other was thinking. I don't see the rooftop scene as...

Gossip Girl, 5.24: Why so awesome, Bart Bass? Or...
WELCOME BACK, BART
You know, I’ve said that bringing Bart back was the stupidest thing the writers could do, because it erased any sense in the not so recent plot line. It’s funny how I was right and wrong at the same time. Bart being alive is making everything that happened after his death irrelevant, but do we really need it? The last three seasons sucked in so many ways. It...

Gossip Girl, 5.24: What I want (for Christmas)
BLAIR: Chuck? What are you doing here?
CHUCK: I came to talk to you.
BLAIR: What about? I thought you've said everything there was to say on that rooftop.
CHUCK: I did. Only it was the complete opposite of what I should have said.
BLAIR: Chuck...
CHUCK: No, Blair, please, just let me finish. Then you can throw me out and never speak to me again. I deserve nothing more.
BLAIR: You know I could never do that.
CHUCK: I know. And the truth is... Neither could I. I'm sorry. I know that lately I seem to apologize to you an awful lot but I really, really need to. I acted like a complete ass yesterday. I shouldn't have said those things to you.
BLAIR: If that's how you feel...
CHUCK: But that's it, Blair, I don't! I just... I was distraught and angry, and I took it out on you. It was unacceptable. I love you, Blair, you know I do. And I want you to love me back.
BLAIR: But I do! I just told you so and you threw it in my face! It was like senior year all over again and I can't - I can't go back to that, Chuck. I've changed too much. I thought you did, too.
CHUCK: I did. Because now I realize that you are enough. Two years ago, after what I did to save the Empire, I got to keep it but at the cost of loosing you. And now I know it wasn't worth it. Having the Empire without you, that's not enough. But having you without the Empire? It is.
BLAIR: What are you saying, Chuck?
CHUCK: I'm saying that I love you and that I want to be with you. But you also need to understand that I can't be anything less that I've been...
BLAIR: You're not! How could you? You became a man that your father or uncle couldn't dream of being and it wasn't because of money and good investment. It was because you cared about the people around you and you finally weren't afraid to show it. That's worth more than a thousand hotels.
CHUCK: I guess... Being your boy-toy sounds kinda kinky.
BLAIR: Being my anything does.
CHUCK: Yeah. I love you, Blair. I never stopped.
BLAIR: I love you, too, Chuck.

Need you like water in my lungs: I have only seen... →

I have only seen ~that scene once, so I’m not sure if I am quoting it right, but I’m certainly not going to watch it again to check.
I was just so.. horrified. And I’m sorry if that makes me a bad chair fan, but I am honestly exhausted. You must know that it is BECAUSE I love them so damn much that I need to be critical of this.
What we are seeing here parallels season two, yes....
nightswimmingatlast asked: I haven't actually seen any of the leaked clips; I've just been reading about them on various tumblrs. Basically Chuck rejects Blair in a really douche-y way, right? From what you've seen, do you think there's still a chance for them to be together?

I know it’s a pointless argument, but I don’t think it’s about power. It’s about identity. Blair doesn’t want to just be Chuck’s girlfriend and C doesn’t want to just be B’s boyfriend. B couldn’t trust C in season 4 and now it’s C who can’t trust.
Hey, no argument is pointless! :) Sometimes we just have to agree...

yes. Chuck can’t deal with a Blair who is more powerful than him. And that goes against everything that CB are supposed to be for me.
Yup. It would be okay if we were at the beginning of the show, but not now. The equality in their relationship should come naturally, not because they force it. I also...

girlspanic replied to your post: It’s not about Chuck saying no to Blair and wanting to move on. That one should happen some time ago. It’s about him telling her that she’s not enough.
I understand how you might feel this way if you take the words at face value. But I think allowances have to be made for the fact that GGWriters suck. The main idea *is* that CB need to build their...

It's not about Chuck saying no to Blair and...
Because okay, maybe she’s not as in, love is not enough. I actually don’t think that all you need in life is love - there are always so many things to consider. But I absolutely hate the way Chuck delivers this sentiment, no matter how true it is. He’s aggressive and petty, and angry at Blair, even though it’s just a set of specific circumstances that put him in such a...

Am I the only CB shipper that hates the rooftop...
I can’t even look at Chuck telling Blair that he wanted to be with her (past tense), but now that he has lost everything he doesn’t care and then gets all pissy about the possibility of Blair being the one with more power (even if only financial) in their relationship.
God! I always viewed Chuck and Blair as two people that see each other as their equal and want it to be that way....

a-madman-and-me asked: Half the CB scenes this season have felt like they're just there to suit the plot and make Louis/DB more dramatic. 5x10 seemed like a wedding set-up and a way to undo the stupid pregnancy SL. That's what makes me angry - it seems like they're just making it up as they go along. CB deserved so much better. I still love Blair, but mostly because I focus on her good moments (i.e. all...
